It's hard to believe that by just making some small changes in your lifestyle and making time for just 3 hours of simple exercise a week can dramatically improve your quality of life.
If you think about your daily routine, most of us spend a lot of the day sitting at your desk, sitting down to eat, sitting in the car, sitting to watch TV and so on....... it's no wonder that on average we spend a shocking 90% of our time sitting down!!
The Department of Health has developed a set of physical activity guidelines that recommend adults should aim to be active daily. Over a week, activity should add up to at least 150 minutes (2½ hours) of moderate intensity activity in bouts of 10 minutes or more.
One way to approach this is to do 30 minutes on at least 5 days a week.
Here at Body 2 Fit we are determined to get people moving with our 'Power Lunch' club. We appreciate how difficult it can be to find the time to exercise, so we have created a whole host of 30 minutes fitness sessions which will be available during your lunch hour from Monday 17th June.
This way you can ensure you get well on the way to your 30 minutes exercise a day without impacting on your social / family time. So whether you choose to only do one 30 minute session a week or all 5, we can guarantee it's the first steps towards a healthier lifestyle.
Body 2 Fit have designed a variety of 'Power Lunch' classes, taking place on different days, aimed at being suitable for everyone and allowing you to challenge yourself as much or as little as you like, but ultimately, they ALL get you moving!!
Pilates / Yoga Circuits
This is a fusion of Pilates & Yoga based exercises designed to re-energise the body after being in a seated position. This session will help lengthen and tone the body whilst improving flexibility, strength & circulation.
The latest in simple but effective training methods, Hang Tough is a session designed around Suspension Training - a workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of different exercises.
You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - you simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance. It delivers a fast, effective total-body workout and helps build your core stability.
A great way of having fun, releasing stress and getting into shape without actually hitting or hurting anyone!
The sessions will focus on traditional boxing moves like hooks, jabs and uppercuts - in the form of 'shadow-boxing', on a punchbag or in pairs on pads.
The sessions will also challenge you with other boxing disciplines such as skipping, shuttle runs, sit ups, press ups etc... working the entire body!
Power Mix is as the name suggests - a Mix of everything offered through the week - a circuit based class that will challenge you with a variety of stations taken from the other classes including...
- Pilates exercises
- Yoga Poses
- Boxercise bag work
- Boxercise aerobic exercises
- Hang Tough exercises
- Core work
This whole body workout is suitable for all and will definitely help to loosen you up and re-energise you for the rest of the day!

3. Pay £10 for 4 sessions (These can be split however you choose i.e. 1 session a week for 4 weeks, 1 session a day for 4 days in a week, 2 sessions a week for 2 weeks etc)
