"We succeed where others have failed"

Joy Feary - Consultant Physiotherapist

Is my Physio qualified to help my back pain?

What qualifications must a Chartered Physiotherapist have?

It is illegal for someone to claim to be a Physiotherapist without having completed a moderated Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited University. If you are unsure whether your Physiotherapist is qualified visit either the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) or The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) websites to search the member databases (http://www.hpc-uk.org/check). The CSP and HCPC are the governing bodies who enforce strict codes of conduct that all Chartered Physiotherapists must abide by.

At Body 2 Fit, all of our Physiotherapy staff are fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapists, members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and Health Professions Council with extensive experience in their chosen field, assuring you of the highest professional standards.

"The set-up is superb, an ideal combination of traditional physiotherapy facilities linked with two well-equipped studios for pilates, balance work and core stability training."

A UK-wide CSP survey showed that 32% of people who have desk based work experience physical pain during working hours at least once a week. A further 65% reported back pain as the most common problem. Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) such as back pain are one of the biggest causes of sickness absence on any given day and are estimated to cost society and employers around £7.4 billion a year!

With more and more of us having the option to work from home it's imperative to have the correct seating arrangement to reduce the risk of back pain and other associated aches and pains.
